Communications Specialist

For more than 40 years, LUCRF Super has been helping members achieve financial dignity, now and in retirement.  LUCRF Super currently invests around $6 billion on behalf of our 162,000 members.

Due to our ongoing growth we have a newly created role for a communications specialist.  Reporting to the Communications and Design Manager, you’ll provide support developing and delivering communications that are engaging, timely and aligned with our fund values and member-first strategy.

As an experienced communications professional, you have a high attention to detail, an ability to convert technical concepts into plain language, an ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, and a demonstrated ability to successfully liaise with a range of staff, key stakeholders and partners.

To be successful in this role, you have outstanding written and verbal communications skills and thrive when working under pressure in a highly regulated and dynamic environment.

You are preferably tertiary qualified in communications or a related discipline journalism, with a strong working knowledge of design, print and production.

Experience in the financial industry is a bonus, but not required.  Demonstrating a curiosity about superannuation and the political landscape will be viewed favourably.
