Insurance for new members

You can apply to increase your default cover without providing medical evidence. You can also apply to match the amount of cover you have with another fund at any stage.

The Death & TPD cover offer

You can increase your default insurance (automatic or elected) up to our automatic acceptance levels. This means that you may be able to get more cover without having to provide any medical evidence.

You can increase your default insurance of 2 units of Death & TPD up to either:

  • a maximum of 8 units of Death & TPD cover,

or

  • a maximum of 8 units of Death Only cover.

You must take up the offer within 90 days of the date of your welcome letter. You’ll also need to answer some screening questions (in the application form).

There are some restrictions on applying for matching or transferring insurance for both Death & TPD or Death Only and Income Protection. To learn more, download our Insurance Guide.

Apply for up to $700 per week of income replacement for up to 2 years with a 30-day waiting period, without generally providing medical evidence.
