Kicking goals for equality

For the first time in world football history the Matildas now have the opportunity to be paid the same as the Socceroos!

Led by the Football Federation Australia and LUCRF Super partner, Professional Footballers Australia, the new four-year CBA will see the Matildas increase their guaranteed minimum payments by a projected 90% over the course of the current CBA.

LUCRF Super have been the major partner of the PFA since 2009 and both organisations work hard to put their members first.

The values that the PFA hold and exhibit are closely linked to those of the team at LUCRF Super. To see such positive work being done by the PFA makes us proud to be their partner.

Charlie Donnelly, LUCRF Super CEO

This great outcome for the Matildas and female football in general is a milestone for equality in sport.

Former Matildas striker and PFA Deputy Chief Executive Kate Gill says, 'We are excited to be able to be part of delivering outcomes like this. Our partnership with LUCRF Super is important as it enables us to continue working hard for our members. Our partnership is built on a common purpose and a desire to achieve a common goal such as equality.’
