Marketing Analyst

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Marketing Analyst to join the team, in this role your will: 

  • Provide analytical input to shape strategic and tactical marketing decisions.
  • Facilitate member communications with provision of target data and analysis of campaign results against objectives.
  • Recommend optimisation of existing campaigns as well as identifying new opportunities.

The role will also ensure that relevant processes and procedures are in place and will oversee the quality and integrity of member data.  

Reporting directly to the Marketing & Retention Manager, the role requires you to work closely with internal SME stakeholders and external agencies. 

We are looking for a self-motivated and curious individual with the ability to work autonomously. Someone with an eye for detail and quality of outcome, also mindful of what they are trying to achieve and how it relates to the business goals; someone with good communication and presentation skills, a team player, who takes pride and ownership in their work.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary degree in related discipline & 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of data lifecycle from capture to retrieval
  • 3-5 years of experience with SQL & Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with extracting data from different data sources and visualising data to convey the findings
  • Some experience with Microsoft Power BI tool or other reporting and data visualisation tools like Tableau
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics & experience with PowerPoint
  • Some experience with marketing campaign platforms
  • Ability to analyse business and marketing requirements and respond to these with effective use of data
  • Experience with development of processes and procedures to support effective running of the function
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and innovation
  • Awareness of relevant data security areas
